Diane Samandi
Inspired by silent movie actress great aunt, and her fashion illustrator grandmother, Diane Samandi has made a career out of a love and nostalgia for garment designs of the past, and the glamour of old Hollywood. She is best known for jonquil, her romantic, vintage inspired lingerie line which she has designed for the past 27 years.
Two years ago, Diane Samandi expanded on this look by launching a ready to wear collection. This line, bearing the Diane Samandi label, has already gained a large following due to its unique use of luxurious fabric, fine laces, and delicate ornamentation. This whimsical and flirty line has quickly proven to be a success in the leading contemporary boutiques in the US and abroad.
Despite her busy schedule, Diane Samandi is an active member of the Mona Foundation.
The Mona Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports grassroots educational initiatives and raises the status of women and girls throughout the world.
