CC SKYE
CC SKYE’s latest collection for Spring 05 is compromised of rare vintage crystals from France, circa 1950. Her signature 18k gold plated crystal embossed cuff bracelets and 3 tier earrings boast hand-set vintage baguettes, cabochons, and pear shaped crystals in an array of rich colors. Each piece is the season’s quintessential accessory: opulent and luxurious bejeweled creations from blue jeans to black tie.
CC SKYE launched her debut line in fall of 2004 fusing glam rock design with couture elegance. The debut Collection was a bold blend sterling and gold fringe, feathers, and gem stones from rock n’ roll classic to fantasy couture featured in magazines from LUCKY, ELLE and In Style to Extra TV’s Hot New Stuff.
CC SKYE’s collections have attracted and ardent celebrity following from the more selective style mavens to the most outlandish female performers including Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, Courtney Love, Janet Jackson, Daryl Hannah, Brandy and others.
CC SKYE was nominated for Best New Accessory Designer by New York’s famed GEN ART (2002), and organization recognized for spotting emerging talent whose judges include Cynthia Rowley, Todd Oldham, Patricia Field and more.
CC SKYE first designed dresses and jewelry in the back streets and bustling bazaars of Katmandu, Nepal, on a four month immersion journey where she studied Nepali life and lived with a shaman in the hills of the Himalayas while compiling a documentary on the aesthetics of Hindu and Buddhist worship. Prior to launching her own line, she was an Associate Producer at MTV Networks and then segment produced fashion documentaries profiling designers and other fashion icons for the style network and E! Entertainment Television. It was then that she realized her dream of launching her own line, spawned years ago while in the Far East.
